Jaiye Jaiye was was produced by the prolific Nigerian hit-maker, Sarz, and features Afrobeat Legend, Femi Kuti. The new video was shot in a number of locations, the most notable being the ‘Shrine’ itself. Wizkid’s performance at the recently concluded, Felabration 2013, was included, and also, Fela Anikulakpo Kuti (the creator of the Afrobeat genre) made a cameo appearance.
On the fashion front, Wizkid rocked a number of wears, starting with a trendy hip outfit, before switching over to the lovely Ankara prints, all in a bid to represent the indigenous flow of the song. Afrobeat and Ankara go together, both being symbols of our indigenous originality.
